SLOW WALK
At a time when most people are striving for more efficiency and trying to get to their goals quickly, slowness appears for many as a sign of weakness or just strange. But perhaps it is rather questionable that we are constantly rushing and have forgotten to enjoy the present moment.
The Slow Walk is not a political demonstration against anyone or anything. It is a walk in community to enjoy peace in a meditative state and to experience the wonder of mindful walking.
The Slow Walk is inspired by the zen master and peace ambassador Thich Nhat Hanh and choreographer Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker. We will enjoy a city walk in silence and connect each step with our inbreath and outbreath. In between we will have time to sit and rest. After the walk we can share our experiences, listen to live music and enjoy a vegan picknick together.
Anyone who likes to walk with us in peace is welcome. Slow Walk is a free event.
We are looking forward to share this special experience with you.
